Casa Museu Maria da Conceição Frias

Casa Museu Maria da Conceição Frias was created to honor the memory of Maria Frias, the last rendeireira — the last woman who made traditional fishing nets in her village.
The house was carefully reconstructed from almost scratch, as it had been burned by the fires in 2006, and we carefully put together all elements and used original objects from her time, preserving both her story and the cultural heritage of the community in a house showcased as a Museum and a B&B.

The project included consulting in design and construction, operational setup, as well as branding and web design, ensuring that Maria’s legacy continues to inspire future generations.
